In this topsey-turvey, screwed-up world the Jews have turned our countries into, it seems like every five minutes someone on my blog is accusing so-and-so of being a disinfo agent for the Jews (like me), screaming about a commentator “dissing” them or maybe even someone not being ”White enough.” So why do I have so much infighting and name calling here?

The core problem is all the “hate” business. This is the framework to the whole Politically Correct business and effectively corrals the thinking and speaking of White people in our lands. We have long been under a secretive and gradual assault by the Jewish NWO, to limit the possibility of us Whites organizing, seeing their Agenda for what it truly is and effectively working with each other to put a stop to them.

Hell, this stuff has been going on so long now that it’s ridiculous most White people have yet to get it through their thick skulls and put two-and-two together. The frustration of Awakened Whites often boils over and has us yelling at each other over the various descriptions and interpretation of the perp’s motives. Need I remind you that proving motive is unnecessary in a court of law?

A person does not have to hate when he knows he’s being victimized in some fashion. If there is plenty of evidence that something is going on, normally a sane person would do something to protect themselves (call the police, your lawyer, or sit in the dark with a loaded shotgun). It doesn’t mean you’re filled with hate. When it comes down to it, it might help some though (more in a minute).

It’s a really fine line to follow when talking about all this stuff. Some try to say “I don’t hate all of them, just the Zionists…” Sure, you can take that route. Others just take the simpler approach and hate them all. I probably fall into that category (ha ha), even though I’m not really as intense as I sometimes sound. It’s hard to stipulate a lot of caveats first as you try to smack people up-side the head.

One big problem is religion. I have the Atheists and Pagan commentators here. I have Christian Identity and the off-shoot “British Israelites.” I have Protestants, Baptists and Catholics, but haven’t yet had any Buddhists, Anabaptists or Zoroastrians (that I know of). Everybody has a different take on the God business. I can’t keep it all straight.

Another big problem is that they are some Jews on the Internet who love to play-act the hard-core Whitey bit and attack Whites for not being White enough, just to spark fighting among ourselves. This is not idle conjecture on my part: I once had the opportunity to look over their shoulders, so to speak, and that course of action titillated the Jews I observed.

Let me stress that some elements of Jewry do indeed take devious personal enjoyment in working up the White masses. You really have no idea, unless you take special efforts to find out (like doing a blog or impersonating one of them, for example).

Jews have tens of thousands in groups specifically organized by a foreign country (Israel), geared to go on the Internet and spout the Jew line without breathing a word of who they really are. Called Hasbara, they embed themselves within Internet chat rooms or work resource places like Wikipedia so they can change, obfuscate or mitigate what the foolish Goyim read.

Other Jews, perhaps a little less sneaky but no less subversive, greatly fear White solidarity so they work to push liberal agendas (especially non-White issues and immigration into our countries). They pose as “concerned humanitarian” Whites following a wide variety of Jewish agendas. Agendas that the hypocrite Jews blatantly reject when it comes to precious Israel.

These are the Pied Pipers to the White liberals, who equate any Jew talk with Nazi genocide. They fail to consider the possibility they are being used to further the racial agenda of the Khazar “Jew” — who are the real racial hypocrites, ”supremacists” (the Chosen Ones, remember) and war mongers of the world. They’ve been kicked out of every single country they’ve ever lived, for good reasons.

Anti-White PC slanders are the simply the verbal tools all these people use to silence Whites, even those of us who don’t mention a word about the Jew!

It’s true: Patriotic American groups that never talk about the Jew, who only try to put a stop to illegal immigration are targeted as ”racist” by these Jew groups and the liberal, Jew-owned media. The Jews know what we should all know, and openly work to head off such thinking at the pass.

You just don’t know how many apparently White people are really Jews to begin with. You can’t go by the names or some made up Internet “handle” to spot these people.

And it’s not some giant conspiracy going on. They understand that virtually all Whites can’t logically see that happening and use ridicule to keep them from looking into things deeper. It’s really a deep-seated, atavistic racial hatred of non-Jews that manifests itself in a multitude of forms that keep the White race confused and divided.

It’s not just the liberal Jews who do these kinds of things. Oh no. The conservative Jews too. In fact, virtually all of them are little more than Israeli agents living in our countries, working together across the board to advance the goals of that rogue nation of Israel. Conservative or otherwise, Jews are basically traitors to the American concept.

One major factor is the so-called “holocaust.” This event has been callously milked by Big Khazar Jewry to gain sympathy for the State of Israel and guilt blackmail. They’ve resurrected old WWII propaganda and lies over the last 40 years, with no end in sight. Of course, all this Jew suffrink propaganda has affected little Jewry in big ways right along. After-all they just couldn’t come out and say “this is only meant for Goyim consumption,” now could they? This has resulted in a little Jewry paranoid to the extreme about a resurgence of the “evil Nazis.”

If you look back, all this started happening back during the 1970’s. I believe it might have been Big Jewry’s reaction to the 1973 Yom Kippur war where Israel was surprised by the Arabs. The 1967 war was secretly started by Jews so they could take Jerusalem; they sucked the Arabs in, got them riled-up and then attacked them out of the blue.

Back to my blog: Some Whites who come here are really hard core about the Whiteness bit. That’s cool with me. But why do these people get all bollixed up when I let non-Whites have their say? Surely, they must realize that other races may have insights into the Jew Question or another perspective on what’s being done to us White people.

If you are a total White race kind of person, then your views are important to me too. Maybe more so. Don’t leave here in a huff just because someone makes a comment you disagree with, or the commentator is not a White. I need all the help I can get!

And I can’t always tell if someone is a Jew, or merely contentious. My Jewdar is not always so perfect. Another big thing to remember is some Whites are just waking up and may still sound Jewy in what they say. We should try to offer them a helping hand (I try, but I’m not always so good either).

I’m not that smart of a guy about the whole business. I wrestle with things just as much as the rest of you. If you are a White person who insists I be some kind of Hitler SS kind of guy and one-drop race arbitrator, you might get disappointed on occasion. But please don’t get all irate.

Or, if you are a Mr. Nice Guy about the races, don’t be offended when I say something a little too hard-core about the other races. Don’t worry: I’m not some blogger guy off someplace wearing a pointed White hood as I type my screeds. Chrome-plated Nazi helmet with a point on top, maybe.

The word “racist” is a political tool, created by a Jew (Trotsky) and named by a Jew (Hirschfeld). In the end, it’s really meant to silence White people from broaching the Jew subject and what they want to do. Once a White ignores the anti-White term, he or she will feel a surge in awareness and clarity that will be surprising. Try it sometime.

On the subject of race, let’s get this out on the table: I really don’t give a rat’s ass if you find oriental or Spanish chicks hot, or have a buddy who’s a big fat Negro. In fact, I’ve talked with a few Negroes over the years who are much more Jew-wise than White people out there. No lie, sad to say.

But the idea of hooking up with black frankly, sickens me to my stomach. Besides the eventual ruination of White genetics (genocide, actually), it would be a lot like sleeping with a STD-ridden bonobo chimpanzee. Bestiality is not at all welcome here at INCOG LAND.

Let me reiterate: Blacks are generally a worthless bunch. Sorry if that offends you. If left to their own devices, they rapidly become violent and lazy — devolving into the usual forms of Negrotude that fill up our prisons and tax our courts. Sure, some might be good, but those few usually end-up victimized by other blacks, sooner or later.

These totally vile people rob, rape and viciously murder members of MY RACE. The numbers and kinds of crimes are purposefully blacked-out nationally by the liberal Jew media — all to keep us Whites from seeing black’s true nature and getting justifiably pissed (which could present problems for the real power structure).

The law of the jungle runs deep in these people. Just look at Africa or even our own American cities — for crying out loud — to see incontrovertible proof of what I say. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand the reality about this race.

Actually, having Whites in control makes life a whole lot better for blacks. The way I see it, blacks are around 30,000 years behind White evolution (uh oh, the creationists will now hate me). Why do they prefer to live in America in the first place and not immigrate back to Africa?

The whole bit about “equality” actually means bringing Whites down to their level, not the other way around. Regardless of all the nice and heroic black actors you see on Jew TV.

But if I was really smart and Jew-devious, I’d ignore all the black crime, TNB stories, etc. and work to agitate them against the Jew. But it’s practically impossible for me to keep quiet when I see my fellow Whites horribly victimized by “these people.”

One thing you notice when doing a blog like this, is that blacks never, ever comment on articles not dealing with the black race. Why? Because they don’t read them, that’s why. Blacks are extremely self-centered creatures and generally could care less about non-black subjects, including America’s future. Unless it’s a black telling them about it.

Also, make note that I allow commenting here on subjects that many other blogs dealing with these issues refuse to do. I think it’s important that your views can and should be made. I don’t extend that courtesy to Jews, since they can freely attack us just about everywhere else.

I could just come out and beg all you people to be nice to each other, or SPAMblinka the mean ones (putting them in my SPAM que). But that would be the wuss way out, and I certainly don’t like the idea of sounding like Rodney “can’t we all just get along? King. That’s not happening with this SOB!

The point I’m trying to make is that I can’t sit here and police everything. There’s going to be a lot of infighting and name calling. I try to avoid SPAMblinking people, but I do once in awhile when things get out of hand. But only when I’m fairly sure I got a Jew on my hands. But that’s hard to say a lot of times.

I might also accidently SPAMblinka a true White once in while by mistake. My apologies in advance.

Another thing: Some people (including moi) are naturally big SOBs, itching to show our assholiness. I can’t be going around being Miss Manners and stuff; especially considering I’m about the worse one here (another great reason to have a blog). If you’re the sensitive type, maybe it’s best for you to go read some blog on tulip gardening or organizing your spice rack.

Yeah, I’m kind of a big time SOB. I sort of let it all hang out here. I wouldn’t say most of these kinds of things at a hoity-toity cocktail party or bar mitsvah (ha ha), believe me. It’s fun, too, to say what you think, so I try to let everyone else coming here do the same without pissing off too many real Whites (that I’m sure of).

When all is said and done, Jews are the biggest problem for Whites, by far. Jews are a spiteful and tricky race. We would not be having so many problems as a country if it were not for the Jews. Jews will end-up being the death of our race should we let things go on. They also may mean the death of civilization if we let them spark another world war.

And it’s not just Zionists, either. If not Zionism, it would be Marxism or some other kind of ISM with this bunch. Jews have been THE one major source of ISMS in the whole world, when you think about it.

Another thing about Jewry is that they go ballistic when a fellow Jew gets victimized by a non-Jew. These people remember shit going back thousands of years and still want payback. It’s insanity! Ironically, it’s another people who suffered and mostly disappeared long ago, and not the Khazars of eastern Europe who call themselves Ashkenazi “Jews.”

I can’t list out all the things that Jewry in general are doing to US, Canada and Europe. Even writing a single sentence on each thing Jews are involved in, suddenly becomes 1500 words. You readers new to the Jew Question simply must check out the things people are saying, both here and elsewhere.

The short answer to why INCOG LAND is often so contentious? Jewry’s little head games on all us White people going back decades in America and maybe even centuries elsewhere, reaching right down into all of us.

We attack each other here because it’s a microcosm of what the Jews have done to America’s head over-all. Yep, even the vitriolic commentary at INCOG LAND is directly tied to the effects of Jewry on this country. Ripples of Political Correctness fostered and created by the Jew reaches right down into my little blog. Hell, it’s in everyone’s dining and living rooms today.

Now, getting back to the “hate” thing: Hate clarifies the situation and is entirely natural, considering what’s going on. Yep, you heard me. Totally evil people think they can literally get away with lies, hypocrisies and murder somehow expect you to stand idly by, simply by calling you “the hater.”

These people clearly deserve the justified wrath of an aroused and angry White population who have had quite enough of the continual BS.

I’m just telling you like it is. I wish all this wasn’t so. If it wasn’t, I’d be here blogging about fishing, Civil War history and tips on yard work (damn, my yard looks good right now). Or drinking my White ass off.

And yeah, I know that my signature “regular guy” schtick may seem like an act to some. But hell, all I’m doing is trying to write like I might talk to another White person in real life. The cool thing about blogging and the subject matter at hand, is that I don’t have to lie and make stuff up out of thin air. The material is plenty good enough all by itself.

So, let’s not cry the blues if things are not always to your liking at INCOG LAND. I’m doing the GD best I can and that’s no lie!

International attention will descend on the ASUC Senate meeting tonight as senators consider upholding the passage of a controversial bill urging the student government and the University of California to divest from two companies that have provided war supplies to the Israeli military.

The bill names two companies-United Technologies and General Electric-as supplying Israel with the technology necessary to attack civilian populations in Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The bill originally passed the senate March 17 by a 16-4 vote following about six hours of discussion. A two-thirds majority, or 14 votes, is needed in order to override the veto.

Senators have received more than 13,000 e-mails, roughly split between both sides of the controversy.

Prominent figures including South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu, activist Naomi Klein and leftist MIT professor Noam Chomsky have spoken in support of overriding ASUC President Will Smelko’s March 24 veto of the bill. Local and national pro-Israel groups such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)-an influential Washington, D.C. lobby organization-Berkeley Hillel and the Anti-Defamation League have each stated the bill is divisive and unfairly targets Israel.

Supporters of the bill say divesting from the two companies would make a powerful statement against Israeli actions in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, which supporters have compared to apartheid-era South Africa.

In a recent letter to the UC Berkeley community, Tutu, who won the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts opposing apartheid in South Africa-said he endorsed the bill and urged senators to uphold the original vote, which he compared to similar efforts at UC Berkeley to divest from South Africa in the 1980s.

He said in an e-mail Tuesday that he had a message for ASUC senators.

"I salute you for wanting to take a moral stand," he said in the e-mail. "(Your predecessors) changed the moral climate in the U.S. and the consequence was the Anti-Apartheid legislation, which helped to dismantle apartheid non-violently. Today is your turn. Will you look back on this day with pride or with shame?"

Wayne Firestone, national president of Hillel-a Jewish campus organization-released a statement last month condemning the bill. The statement stated that the bill is "one-sided, divisive and undermines the pursuit of peace" and ignores human rights violations of other countries.

"The ASUC bill will not contribute a whit to the advancement of peace in the Middle East and will only serve to divide the Berkeley community," Firestone said in the statement.

Pro-Israel activist organization J Street U, joined 18 other organizations-including Berkeley Hillel, the American Jewish Committee, the Jewish Federation of the East Bay, the Jewish National Fund and StandWithUs/SF Voice for Israel-in crafting an April 5 letter to UC Berkeley Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost George Breslauer stating that they felt the bill was dishonest and misleading.

Among concerns listed in the letter was that the bill "unfairly targets" Israel while marginalizing Jewish students on campus who support Israel.

"Though it states that the ‘ASUC resolution should not be considered taking sides in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict,’ the exclusive focus on Israel suggests otherwise," the letter states.

Critics of the bill have said senators cannot make a proper judgement of an issue as complicated as the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Student Action Senator Parth Bhatt, who voted against the bill, said he felt the ASUC should not take a stance on such an issue because it marginalizes one community on campus.

"I don’t think the ASUC should put any student in that position," Bhatt said. "The conflict is very complex and something I don’t think our senators know enough about to vote on."

But CalSERVE Senator Ariel Boone said she supported the bill because she felt compelled to defend human rights.

"I went to Israel and had a really interesting time with Berkeley Hillel in January, and I have Holocaust survivors among my family," Boone said in an e-mail. "I have never felt so uniquely qualified to speak on an issue."

AIPAC has recently stated the need for a strategy to combat anti-Israel sentiments on U.S. university campuses.

"How are we going to beat back the anti-Israel divestment resolution at Berkeley?" said Jonathan Kessler, leadership development director for AIPAC, at a recent conference of the lobbying group. "We’re going to make sure that pro-Israel students take over the student government and reverse the vote. This is how AIPAC operates in our nation’s capitol. This is how AIPAC must operate on our nation’s campuses."

But according to spokesperson Josh Block, the group did not take a position in the recent ASUC election.

"We don’t rate or endorse candidates," Block said in an e-mail. "Of course we would always, publicly and consistently encourage pro-Israel students to be active in civic and political life."

Bill White, a Roanoker branded America’s "loudest and most obnoxious" neo-Nazi, was sentenced to 30 months in prison today for using his Web site, e-mail and the telephone to menace strangers.

The jail term locks away White, 32, for a period at the upper end of federal sentencing guidelines determined by U.S. District Judge James Turk. The judge said he rarely sentences defendants on the high side of guidelines, but did so because of the fear White instilled in many of his victims.

Turk told White that when he gets out of prison, "You can have any thoughts that you want to have, but you ought to keep them to yourself.

"I hope this will teach you a lesson, I really do," the judge told White, who declined a chance to speak at today’s hearing.

Today’s sentencing in U.S. District Court in Roanoke follows a December trial in which White was convicted of threatening people in Missouri, Delaware and Virginia Beach.

White’s victims — strangers to him and to one another — unwittingly said or did something to anger a neo-Nazi activist, who then used his Web site, e-mail and the telephone to harass and threaten them.

For Citibank employee Jennifer Petsche, it was the way White’s credit card account was handled. For Tasha Reddick and Tiese Mitchell, it was the housing discrimination lawsuit they filed against their Virginia Beach landlord. For University of Delaware administrator Kathleen Kerr, it was a diversity awareness program at the school.

According to earlier testimony, White told a secretary in Kerr’s office that he was the leader of neo-Nazi group, that people who think the way she does about race should be shot, and that he would hunt her down.

White has claimed his words are protected by the First Amendment — a defense that proved successful with another five charges that were dismissed.

White moved to Roanoke in 2004 and began to buy and rent houses in the impoverished West End neighborhood. At about the same time, he became involved in the white supremacy movement, forming the American National Socialist Workers Party and declaring himself the commander.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors U.S. hate groups, has called White "possibly the loudest and most obnoxious neo-Nazi leader in America."

U.S. Attorney Timothy J. Heaphy has scheduled a news conference this afternoon to speak about White’s sentence and "the importance of prosecuting civil rights cases," according to a statement from his office.

Again and again the question is asked: Why not stand up to the Jews? And the answer is: money. Money allows the Jews to do two things: (1) It allows them to buy opposition and (2) It allows them to destroy careers. That, in simple terms, is why people will not stand up to the Jews. Why is it that so many people will make perfectly true statements about the Jews – and then apologize profusely, crawling on their knees? They do it because failure to do so means permanent social ostracism and grinding poverty. Look at the journalist William Cash who had to bend over backwards for the sin of saying that Jews run Hollywood. Dorothy Thompson, the journalist, used to be the darling of the Jews when she was attacking Adolf Hitler. But when she started comparing what the Zionists were doing to the Arabs with what the Nazis had done to the Jews, that was the end of her column.

President Jimmy Carter was virtually called a Nazi when his book "Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid" first came out. Jewish organizations and Professor Alan Dershowitz tried to cancel as many of his speaking engagements as possible. Jews, as these examples and innumerable others demonstrate, are utterly ruthless in using their power to crush those who oppose them.

The very best example of this Jewish ruthlessness is the laws around the world criminalizing Holocaust denial.

You can deny the crimes of Joseph Stalin or apologize for the massacres of Mao Tse Tung and remain a citizen in good standing. No one will fire you from your job or throw you into gaol.

But if you dare to suggest that Nazi "gas chambers" are a hoax you will be prosecuted in at least a dozen countries. That is the real extent of Jewish devotion to "freedom of thought" that threatens their group interests.

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, a Democrat who campaigned for President Obama in 2008, slammed the U.S. leader’s recent treatment of Israel as "outrageous" and "hostile," declaring he is "close" to "getting off the Obama train."

Koch’s sentiments are significant. The former politician has long been an indicator of American Jewish sentiment regarding U.S. presidents and Israel. His statements may serve as a signal that some American Jews are moving away from the Obama administration.

Koch was speaking in a radio interview with WND senior reporter Aaron Klein, who hosts an investigative program on New York’s WABC 770 AM.

The former mayor took issue with the Obama administration’s diplomatic row with Israel last month after a Jerusalem municipality announced the construction of 1,600 new homes in the neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, an already existing Jewish community in Jerusalem.

That announcement came during a visit to the region by Vice President Joe Biden, resulting in the White House calling the new construction an "insult" and an impediment to Israeli-Palestinian peace. A subsequent visit to the White House by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was described in media reports as tense.

"I think it’s outrageous what he has done," stated Koch, referring to Obama, who Koch said has called for Jews not to "build apartments anywhere they want to and can afford to in their own land in Jerusalem."

"It’s clear that Netanyahu was treated so terribly at the White House," he said. "It is just rude what they did to him. … I am extremely distressed with the attitude that the president has shown Israel. I consider it to be hostility."

"I am really terrified at what is happening and I would urge Jews and Christians who support Israel to stand up and speak out," Koch added.

"We must never again go back to the ’30s, when Jews were afraid to speak out here in the United States because they would be treated as disloyal, unpatriotic, duel loyalty and they deserted," Koch told Klein.

"We should insist that (Obama) treat our ally as an ally, that he not throw Israel under the bus," he said.

Koch, who campaigned for Obama in Florida during the 2008 election, said he was "amazed that the members of Congress who normally say wonderful things about the support of Israel, they have not spoken out in denunciation in what has occurred to date under the Obama administration."

The former mayor also took issue with Obama’s policy of dialogue and seeking sanctions against Iran.

"The fact is U.S. on that issue has lost its nerve and has accepted the fact that North Korea and Iran will have a nuclear bomb. North Korea already does. All this talk about sanctions is baloney," he said.

When asked if he is deserting Obama, Koch declared, "I am not yet off the train, but, let me tell you, I am close to it."

He added, "I’m a good Democrat and believe in the Democrat program, domestically certainly."

Indicator of Jewish American support

Koch’s attitude has long been a good indicator of greater Jewish American sentiment toward U.S. politicians.

In 1980 Koch, although himself a prominent Democrat, defied the Democratic administration of Jimmy Carter and strongly denounced Carter’s policies toward Israel. This foreshadowed the unprecedented shift of Jewish voters that November; with about sixty percent of Jews deserting Carter: 40 percent went to Reagan, and 20 percent to John Anderson.

Koch’s endorsement of George W. Bush in 2004, as a gesture of support for the U.S. war against Islamic terror and Bush’s pro-Israel policies, was likewise indicative of the growing grassroots Jewish support for the Bush administration.

You claim that Hugo Chavez fought the Jews but by simple logical deduction one would come to the conclusion that Hugo Chavez is but an actor playing his part, let me explain.

Chavez is a Communist and if he has any sort of real education he is I am sure familiar with the fact that Communism is a Jewish ploy. Yet he promotes this ideology.

Chavez is the protégé of Fidel Castro who is also a Communist. Not only is Castro a Communist but he is in fact a Jew, he has admitted this.

In a telephone interview, Rabbi Lazar told The Jewish Week he was elated by a promise Putin made to him during a meeting at the president’s home last week to contribute one month’s salary to the construction of a Russian Jewish Museum of Tolerance. It was “a strong signal of President Putin’s commitment to fight against anti-Semitism and xenophobia,” he said. “People were struck by the fact that this is the first time the president ever offered to donate his salary to any cause.”

“American Jewry,” he continued, “fought for decades for the right of Russian Jews to be free, and that day has arrived. There has been a great Jewish revival in this country, and President Putin and his government are sincere about giving Jews full freedom.”

Yevgeny Satanovsky, the outspoken former president of the Russian Jewish Congress who is today president of the Institute for Israel and Middle East Studies, a Moscow-based think tank, is forthright in endorsing Putin’s crackdown on democracy.

“A centralized system of power is good” Satanovsky said, “Whatever else one might say about Putin, he is philo-Semitic and pro-Israel. Maybe Putin’s successor will be less friendly than he is, but the main thing is that to be anti-Israel or anti-Semitic is no longer part of acceptable political culture in Russia.”

Oprah Winfrey — who built a billion-dollar empire persuading everyone from celebs to average Joes to reveal the truth about themselves — is a big phony when it comes to her own past, an explosive new book charges.

Winfrey’s relationship with longtime "love" Stedman Graham, her reputed dirt-poor upbringing in rural Mississippi, her rumored lesbian crushes on women such as Diane Sawyer — all are stories she has manipulated for decades in the name of sensational ratings, according to writer Kitty Kelley’s latest unauthorized biography "Oprah."

The much-anticipated book details how:

* Winfrey concocted stories about sexual abuse she suffered as a child — and grossly exaggerated the poverty she was brought up in.

* She went to great lengths to conceal her "lesbian affairs" — including hefty payoffs — and publicly attached herself to Graham to appear more normal to her audience of housewives.

* She lavished romantic gifts — including a diamond toe ring — on ABC talking head Diane Sawyer.

* Winfrey sold her body to earn extra money and has even described herself as a teen "prostitute."

* She doesn’t know the true identity of her biological father.

* Her relationship with her own mother is so cold that Winfrey won’t even let the older woman have her phone number.

Winfrey was born in Kosciusko, Miss., in 1954, and, the way she likes to tell it, she was so impoverished that she never had any new dresses or dolls and had to adopt two cockroaches as pets, naming them Melinda and Sandy.

But her family says that’s nonsense.

She may not have been well off, but Oprah was relatively "spoiled" as a little girl, her cousin said.

"Where Oprah got that nonsense about growing up in filth and roaches I have no idea," said the relative, Katherine Carr Esters. "I’ve confronted her and asked, ‘Why do you tell such lies?’ Oprah told me, ‘That’s what people want to hear. The truth is boring.’ "

A friend of Esters added that the manipulation of her past is a key to her success.

"Every move is calculated to further her brand and lift her image, which is why she does good works," Jewette Battles said.

As a teen, Winfrey was a wild child, promiscuous to the point of prostitution, her relatives said.

The future star would steal from her mother’s purse, pawn her jewelry and even turn tricks. She was eventually sent to live in Nashville with Vernon Winfrey, who was her mother’s former lover and who is listed on her birth certificate as her father. He has been described as the domineering disciplinarian who set her straight.

Later, determined to become rich and famous, Winfrey was ready to change her story to her advantage, making sure she cultivated her image as an everywoman, the book alleges.

That meant she had to quell rumors about her sexuality.

At one point, the rumors included seamy talk at ABC about a relationship between Winfrey and Sawyer when Oprah worked there.

Employees there described "giggly late-night phone calls" and a series of lavish gifts from Winfrey — including gigantic sprays of orchids and a 1-carat diamond toe ring — to Sawyer.

Despite such rumors, Kelley concludes Winfrey is "asexual."

Still, she quotes sources describing how, in 1989, Winfrey was insistent on paying Tim Watts, an ex-boyfriend, $50,000 to keep quiet about her lesbian affairs and the fact that her brother, who died of AIDS, was gay.

"He said she did not want him to talk about her brother being gay," said Judy Lee Colteryahn, who also dated Watts.

"It’s no big deal to have a brother who is homosexual, but apparently it was to Oprah. Tim also said he knew about some lesbian affairs."

As for Winfrey’s very public relationship with Graham, the pair do not even share a bedroom, according to the book.

Landscape architect James van Sweden of Oehme, who spent years working for the couple, said he planned to design a space for a wedding in front of their new estate but knew immediately after watching them together that there would never be a wedding.

"Oprah keeps Stedman around because she wants her audience to accept her as a normal woman with a man in her life, but from what I saw during those four years, I can tell you there’s nothing there with Stedman. Nothing at all," he said.

"He’s simply a fixture in her life," van Sweden added. "Window-dressing."

According to her father, Vernon, Oprah admitted that she was not in love with Stedman.

"I’m in like . . . not in love," she told him, according to the book.

She did reportedly have one affair with a man — "Entertainment Tonight’s" John Tesh, while the two were working in Nashville.

According to Tesh’s ex, he broke things off because he couldn’t deal with the stigma of being an interracial couple.

"He said one night he looked down and saw his white body next to her black body and couldn’t take it any more," the ex said. "He walked out in the middle of the night."

Winfrey has played coy on Tesh.

Vernon Winfrey says he’s been dismayed by how Oprah plays fast and loose with the truth.

"She may be admired by the world, but I know the truth," he says. "So does God and so does Oprah. Two of us remain ashamed."

Vernon reserves his harshest words for Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King, who put the kibosh on a biography he was working on.

Calling her a "dirt hog" and "street heifer," he blames King for a rift in his relationship with Oprah.

"She’s become too close to that woman Gayle," he says.

King and others in Oprah’s entourage worked hard to keep a tight grip on employees in order to keep her out of the tabloids.

"I thought I would be working for the warm and fuzzy person I saw on television," a former employee at Winfrey’s Harpo production company said. "But, God, I was conned. It’s a cult at Harpo. So oppressive it’s frightening."

Perhaps the biggest secret of the book is left a secret.

Oprah allegedly does not know the true identity of her father.

Esters told Kelley who he is, on the condition she not publish the information until Winfrey’s mother comes clean to her daughter.

Brain disorder eradicates ethnic but not gender bias.

Children with a neurodevelopmental disorder called Williams syndrome (WS) are overly friendly because they do not fear strangers. Now, a study shows that these children also do not develop negative attitudes about other ethnic groups, even though they show patterns of gender stereotyping found in other children. "This is the first evidence that different forms of stereotypes are biologically dissociable," says Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg, director of the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany, who led the study published today in Current Biology1.

Adults with WS show abnormal activity in a brain structure called the amygdala, which is involved in responding to social threats and triggering unconscious negative emotional reactions to other races2,3. Racial bias has been tied to fear: adults are more likely to associate negative objects and events, such as electric shocks, with people of other ethnic groups compared with those of their own group4. But according to Meyer-Lindenberg, his latest study offers the strongest evidence so far that social fear leads to racial stereotyping.

Show no fear

The team showed 18 pictures to 20 children with and 20 without WS all of whom were of white European origin. Then they asked the children, aged 5-16 years, to choose individuals in the drawings who might engage in sex-specific activities, such as playing with dolls. Both groups of children showed the same patterns of gender stereotyping.

The children also heard stories about individuals, represented in drawings, who had negative attributes, such as being naughty and dirty, or positive traits, such as being pretty and smart. They were then asked to choose whether the story was about a light-skinned or a dark-skinned individual in the drawings. One example story was this: "There are two little boys. One of them is a kind little boy. Once he saw a kitten fall into a lake and he picked the kitten up to save it from drowning. Which is the kind little boy?"

Children without WS favoured positive characteristics for the light-skinned children and negative features for dark-skinned individuals, consistent with previous studies on both white and black children5, but those with WS lacked any bias. The obvious conclusion, Meyer-Lindenberg says, is that social fear is not required for gender stereotyping, but it is important in forming racial stereotypes.

"This is a really novel finding, enough to make us rethink what we mean by stereotyping," says Uta Frith, a developmental psychologist at University College London.

The results suggest that social fear contributes to racial stereotyping. But WS is associated with other cognitive impairments, such as mental retardation, that may also have a role, Meyer-Lindenberg says.

Although the authors controlled for many factors, such as IQ and socioeconomic background, children with and without WS may have had different experiences of members of other racial groups, says John Gabrieli, a cognitive neuroscientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. "To a certain degree, all children are exposed to sex roles from their parents, but not all are forced to think about race," he says. Less exposure to racial stereotypes could possibly explain the lack of racial bias in children with WS, he says.

Meyer-Lindenberg believes his findings will replicate in larger samples and different age groups. In future neuroimaging studies, he would like to tease apart the neural circuits involved in different types of stereotypes.

The study does not answer whether stereotyping is genetically determined or based on experience, Meyer-Lindenberg says. So he’d also like to examine the role of experience, for instance, by finding children who have been raised by two members of the same sex.

"Until this study, I think people never imagined that these two stereotypes would be biologically separable," Gabrieli says. "Whether it turns out to be due to genes, the environment or a complicated interaction, it shifts the discussion."

A former US lawmaker from the state of New Jersey, who campaigned against child pornography, has now pleaded guilty to distribution of child porn.

The 59-year-old former Assemblyman, Neil Cohen, admitted on Monday that he has used the computer in his former legislative office to view and print nude images of underage girls.

"That’s correct, sir," Cohen told the judge in a muffled voice when asked if he intended to plead guilty, the Associated Press reported.

This could send Cohen to state prison for the next five years, and under Megan’s law he would be subject to lifetime supervision by the Parole Board upon release from prison.

Cohen, an attorney, will also likely be disbarred and has agreed not to seek jobs at public offices. Final sentencing is scheduled for July 12.

Cohen would also face up to 30 years in prison, if convicted of official misconduct and child pornography charges.

"Mr. Cohen, through his actions in viewing and distributing child pornography, linked himself to an abhorrent industry that preys on children," Attorney General Paula Dow said in a statement.

Brooklyn — As the Vatican struggles with fresh headlines on scandals of child sex abuse, the Jewish communities throughout the world have been embroiled in a similar plague. In the last year, Brooklyn’s State Supreme Court has issued an increasing number of subpoenas to members of the Jewish Orthodox community in relation to child sexual abuse cases. Until recently, most of these cases were handled for the community by the community and entirely within the community.

The increase in the number of cases reported to the secular justice system by members of this particularly closed group is the result of a long process: bridges built between secular and religious judicial authorities in Brooklyn, and a strong collaboration between Jewish organizations and the District Attorney’s office through the project Kol Tzedek, Hebrew for “Voice of Justice.” The program has now reached its first year milestone.

He could spend the rest of his life in jail, but he remained silent during the four days of his trial. Baruch Mordechai Lebovits is a corpulent 59-year-old rabbi from Borough Park, in Brooklyn. On March 8, 2010, the day his verdict was to be announced, he arrived in the Kings County State Supreme Court striding behind his two lawyers, his face looking down to avoid the stares of a dozen bystanders outside Ceremonial courtroom No. 1.

Lebovits was followed by five of his relatives and friends. Slowly, more and more of the rabbi’s supporters quietly entered the courtroom and congregated in the benches behind the accused. Soon, two thirds of the seats would be filled with members of the Borough Park Jewish Orthodox community. Interviews with some of these men and women revealed their complete rejection of the charges: that Lebovits molested one of his 16-year-old students in 2004. His supporters were equally unconvinced by the multiple counts of child sexual assault for which Lebovits has yet to be tried. By the end of this year, Lebovits will be judged for allegedly abusing two other children.

Seated 30 feet away from his molester on the other side of the room, the plaintiff Yoav Schonberg, now 22, was surrounded by his father, a few friends, and Kal Holczler, who claims to have been molested by his own rabbi when he was a teenager. Schonberg was the prosecution’s primary witness against Lebovits. He was timid, obviously at odds with himself, and Justice Patricia DiMango had to ask him several times to speak up during his testimony. Speaking haltingly in a frail voice, Schonberg explained to the court that on May 2, 2004, Rabbi Lebovits offered him a free driving lesson. After a few minutes, Schonberg said, Lebovits instructed him to pull the car over, at which point the rabbi unzipped the young boy’s pants and began performing oral sex.

According to the Assistant District Attorney Miss Gregory, the same thing happened to Yoav Schonberg, who was 16 back then, nine more times, until February 22, 2005. “It happened many many more times, but my son wasn’t able to remember the specific dates so it is not valid for the prosecution,” explained Yaakov Schonberg, the plaintiff’s father.

When the verdict was handed down, Lebovits did not move. He did not grimace; he did not sigh almost as if he had expected it, despite his “innocent” plea. Among his supporters, though, a few wiped tears from their cheeks and gasped for breath. Many started making calls as soon as they left the courtroom, to keep the rest of the community updated. The jury found the rabbi who is also a teacher at the Munkatch yeshiva (religious school) and the owner of a travel agency in Borough Park guilty of eight of the ten counts in the indictment.

The sentence will be read today. For these charges alone, Lebovits faces up to 32 years in prison, four years for each count on which he was convicted. But at least two more trials await the rabbi this year. One of his alleged victims was 16-years-old and the other was 15 at the time the assaults are said to have occurred. “In the community, I’ve spoken to dozens of families who say their children were molested by this man. Dozens! The problem is that half of them don’t want to let it be known, and the other half can’t do anything about it because it’s too late,” explained Yaakov Schonberg, in reference to the five-year statute of limitations that make it impossible for victims to file a lawsuit after they turn 23.

Brooklyn is home to over 300,000 Orthodox Jews – mainly in Williamsburg, Flatbush, Crown Heights and Borough Park — but for decades, prosecutors very rarely tackled alleged child molesters in this community. According to an October 14, 2009 article by Paul Vitello in the New York Times, “of some 700 child abuse cases brought in an average year, few involved members of the Orthodox Jewish community. Some years, there were one or two arrests, or none.”

In the past year, however, according to the Kings County D.A.’s office, 30 members of this community in Brooklyn have been prosecuted for child sexual abuse. Among those 30 prosecutions, half were for misdemeanor offenses, half for felony crimes.

This sudden breakthrough in the ability of the secular judicial system to prosecute sex crimes within this tight-lipped community has been facilitated by Kol Tzedek, the program that Brooklyn D.A. Charles Hynes launched a year ago. Its goal was to build a dialogue between secular law enforcement agencies and Orthodox Jews as well as within the community itself.

Kol Tzedek includes a hotline for victims to report abuse and receive psychological support anonymously until they are ready to go to court. The program also has a prevention component, operated with the help of three Jewish social organizations – the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services, Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services, and the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.

“It is a very scary issue,” said Dr. Hindie Klein, the psychotherapist who runs Ohel’s Tikvah Mental Health clinic in Borough Park in which several victims of sexual abuse have been treated. Klein is also in charge of Kol Tzedek at Ohel. This social services organization specializes in Jewish communities, provides help in several fields job search, poverty, mental health, foster care, etc, and last year, it celebrated its 40th year of existence.

“Many members of the community don’t even know what is and what isn’t considered sexual assault!” Klein explained. “It’s Sabbath, the whole family gets together, and then you notice that this uncle or this neighbor has been playing a lot with your kid, taking him on his lap, touching him affectionately … Where is the line? Sometimes it’s nothing, and sometimes it’s worrying. The first thing that people lack in this community is definitely knowledge on this matter,” she pointed out, stressing each one of her words with both her hands.

“But even then,” added Derek Saker, Ohel’s spokesman, who was sitting next to Hindie Klein, “once they know their children have been molested, families won’t always have the right reaction. There’s the fear of the stigma, enhanced by the fact that this is a very close-knit and modest community that we are talking about.”

According to Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg, an activist who works in Williamsburg to prevent the sexual abuse of children, “If a kid comes home and tells his parents that one of his teachers or his rabbi touched his private parts, parents will have one of these two reactions: they will either slap him in the face and ground him for lying and being immodest, or they will tell him that it was nothing and that he should forget about it.” The general disbelief and/or denial was also noted by Shoshannah Frydman who is in charge of the project Kol Tzedek at the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, a social services agency operating in New York City.

“In any community, it is a topic that people refuse to face, and in an insular community, as is the Orthodox Jewish community of Brooklyn, of course, these things tend to be hidden under the carpet even more. They have a different understanding of child protection and criminal justice.” Frydman also said that there was an important lack of information on sexual abuse itself. “People think that if their children were abused, it is going to influence their whole sexuality, or create problems when it comes to finding a wife or a husband.”

An indication of the resistance within the Orthodox community to bringing child molesters to justice can be found in posts from blogger Yerachmiel Lopin, who writes about child molestation in Brooklyn: “A source in Boro Park tells me that [a flyer calling for witnesses to testify against Lebovits and to contact Miss Gregory at the D.A.’s office] was strewn all over his neighborhood on Shabbat morning on November 21, 2009. By noon the flyers had all been removed. … It is striking that this secret activity is being undertaken. One would have thought that given the many children he may have molested the community leadership could easily assure the necessary roster of witnesses.”

“We can’t let things be handled by the community. Our only way out is to turn to secular justice,” insisted Victoria Polin, the social worker who founded the Awareness Center, based in Baltimore, MD. This international organization has been fighting child sexual abuse for eleven years in Jewish communities throughout the world by means of prevention programs and information workshops.

Polin’s Awareness Center also helps survivors deal with the consequences of having been sexually assaulted. “So many children end up committing suicide, or falling into drugs… They can end up having very serious health problems because some were abused when they were very young and they had their insides torn; girls can have long-term gynecological issues; others will refuse to go to the dentist during their entire lives because of the trauma of having somebody else put something in their mouth,” Polin said.

In Williamsburg, on November 5, 2009, several newspapers reported that Motty Borger, 24, committed suicide, two days after his wedding. As his new wife was asleep, at 6:45 a.m., Borger jumped from his seventh floor room at the Avenue Plaza hotel. Although no suicide note was found, friends of Borger’s told reporters that, a few days before Borger killed himself, he had confided to his father-in-law and to his wife that Rabbi Lebovits had sodomized him.

“My son hasn’t killed himself,” said Yaakov Schonberg, the father of the abused boy in Lebovits’ trial. “But he spent four years navigating between crack and cocaine addiction, he was unable to get a job, he started stealing money from synagogues to finance his addiction… and of course he was arrested several times for stealing that money.

It’s a vicious cycle!” In 2008, Yoav was sent to a rehab center in Los Angeles, CA, but he only stayed there for one month. Since then, even though he still wears his black velvet kippah, and considers himself a Jew, Yoav Schonberg says he has left the Hareidi world: he no longer goes to the synagogue to pray, he shaves his beard regularly and has stopped wearing his hair side curls. His father still has the side curls and follows the dress code of the Munkatch Orthodox sect, but he has also partially withdrawn from its strict rules: “I am under no rabbi. No rabbi tells me what to do now,” Yaakov Schonberg said.

This trend is not specific to the Jewish Orthodox communities, according to Victoria Polin, the Awareness Center founder. “When something this tragic happens, of course, victims will lose trust in their community, and that is why it is so important that secular authorities be there for survivors. Otherwise, they will feel like they have nobody to turn to,” Polin insisted.

District Attorney Hynes, who has spent his whole career in Brooklyn, is used to dealing with leaders of the Orthodox Jewish community. Several times in the past ten years, advocates for victims of sexual abuse have accused Hynes of seeking peace in his jurisdiction by turning a blind eye to the community’s practice of funneling abuse cases through religious tribunals and shutting out secular justice authorities. “But the real problem,” said Jerry Schmetterer, spokesman for the Brooklyn D.A., “was that they just didn’t trust us. We really feel it’s working well now.

The fact that the program Kol Tzedek is anonymous is what really made the difference.”

Dr. Hindie Klein who, as the director of a mental health clinic, has received “many anonymous calls from frightened parents looking for information,” said that the reason why it is so difficult for a family to talk to secular authorities is that they don’t know what consequences their call will have.

“Will everything break out publicly? Will their family be outcast for something that could possibly have been nothing? They need to know that their call will have no consequences unless they decide otherwise.” According to Klein, as well, total anonymity and privacy is what Kol Tzedek’s strength depends on.

Every Orthodox Jewish community has religious tribunals, composed of three, or sometimes four rabbis. These rabbinical courts, called “Bet Din,” Hebrew for “House of Judgment,” are intended to settle every disagreement within the community and only rarely choose to report cases to secular judicial authorities.

“It’s a matter of protecting the community,” explained Yaakov Schonberg. “By handling problems yourself, you prevent the others from knowing about those problems and from using them against you.” Breaking the rule and reaching out to secular authorities when there is a problem within the community, according to Schonberg, will get you excommunicated more often than not.

Excommunication means that someone will not be allowed in any synagogue of the community, his/her children won’t be accepted in any yeshiva, and shopkeepers will refuse to do business with that person. “The pressure on the family is huge!” added Yaakov Schonberg.

In Lebovits’ case, for instance, the prosecutor presented evidence that pressure had been applied to the victim by a local religious court to persuade him to drop the charges. One of the defense attorneys’ witnesses was Rabbi Berel Ashkenazi, a friend of Lebovits’ who had come to court to testify that the victim was a “con man” as defense lawyer Arthur Aidala described him and that he was not worthy of trust. Ashkenazi, 44 years old and the father of nine children, had also been the plaintiff’s teacher, from October 2003 until June 2004 at Spinka religious school in Borough Park.

Assistant D.A. Miss Gregory brought to the trial copies of a letter sent by one of Borough Park’s rabbinical courts to Rabbi Ashkenazi. It stipulated that Ashkenazi, to whom Schonberg had gone for assistance, should offer financial support to Schonberg to treat his drug addiction, and help him to a rehab center “if and only if” he agreed “to drop the case in a non-Jewish court.” This is just one of the many types of pressure a rabbinical court can apply to the community it rules in, if they are suspected of committing “Mesirah,” Hebrew for “informing.”

In the courtroom, after Assistant D.A. Gregory asked him to do so, witness Rabbi Ashkenazi explained what the concept of “Mesirah” meant for the Orthodox community: “A Jewish man is not allowed to go to a secular court against another Jew without the permission of his rabbi,” Ashkenazi explained. Then, Gregory continued: “And could you tell me what happens if someone does not follow that rule? Would that person be stigmatized for not doing so?”

After a few seconds of hesitation and stammering, Ashkenazi replied: “If someone doesn’t do so, the rabbi would have to talk to him.” When the questioning was over, the witness swiftly got up from his seat and walked rapidly towards the exit of the courtroom, looking straight ahead, avoiding the stares of the audience.

The plaintiff’s father said he had also been under pressure during the month before the Lebovits’ trial began. “As soon as the date of the trial was officially announced, I received calls from everywhere, even from Israel!” He said people were calling to ask him to drop the case and go to a religious tribunal instead. “But you have to understand, rabbinical courts used to mean something,” Yaakov Schonberg said. “They used to have real authority and real moral superiority in the community. Now it has become a business, a way to make money!” Schonberg explained how thirty years ago, there used to be only one Bet Din in Borough Park and another one in Williamsburg, and how now, there were dozens in each neighborhood.

“Now, it’s usually three young rabbis who know very little, fresh from rabbinical school, and they call themselves rabbinical court!” he said, gesticulating vigorously. He paused and added: “They don’t have to be approved by anyone, there is no election, no nomination, no validation whatsoever. They just open an office, put a sign that says “Bet Din,”… and charge each plaintiff $100 an hour!”

Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg, who has for over ten years been strongly encouraging victims to bring sexual offenders before a secular court, said he was now considered an outcast in Brooklyn.

He was excommunicated two years ago after he launched a hotline to “teach victims and their relatives how to react when they are confronted with a sexual abuse situation.” “Today, there isn’t one synagogue in this borough that will accept me, even the most liberal ones,” Rosenberg said. “Such pressure has been made on every rabbi in Brooklyn that now I have to go pray in Manhattan, and even there, my rabbi received several calls from leaders in Williamsburg asking him not to let me in anymore. But he answered ‘No one rules in my synagogue but me!”

For Yaakov Schonberg, the fact that sexual crimes in the community are perpetrated by rabbis, teachers and other community leaders is “what’s worst about it. … These people have a very high stature, everybody knows and respects them.” According to Lebovits’ defense attorney Arthur Aidala, Lebovits’ son, Chaïm, is “a multi-millionaire,” who has “businesses all over the world,” a fact that Schonberg uses to describe how powerful Lebovits is, according to him.

“I do not know anything about money pressure or any other kind of pressure,” said Dr. Hindie Klein, the director of Ohel’s Mental Health clinic in Borough Park. “What I do know, and this is the case in every community, not just in the Jewish Orthodox world, is that sexual abusers are generally in a position of authority over the child.” She added: “It can be rabbis, but also teachers, camp leaders, or family members. The thing is that when a rabbi does it, it has a more dramatic resonance, because they represent this moral authority, and they are supposed to know better.”

One of the big problems judicial authorities face when dealing with the sexual abuse of children in Jewish Orthodox communities lies in defining the extent of it. Looking only at the cases reported to secular authorities, the problem would be almost non-existent. Jewish advocacy groups for sexual abuse victims argue, however, that molestation in the Hareidi community is heavily underreported to secular authorities. According to Victoria Polin, from the Awareness Center, “it is generally considered that 84 percent of child sexual abuse cases are never reported to the police. But in the Jewish Orthodox community, we believe the rate is around 99 percent … And this is an optimistic estimation!”

According to a study issued in 1988 by the National Institute of Mental Health, the typical child sex offender molests an average of 117 children. “There aren’t many sexual abusers in each community,” observed Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg. “But even if there’s only one or two in each neighborhood, the problem is that it’s easy for them: they have all the children at their disposal.”

No organization seems to have kept any record or statistics concerning child sex abuse in the Jewish Orthodox community. The Metropolitan Council offered support, long before Kol Tzedek, to sexual abuse victims “but [they] never ever reported the number of calls [they] received on a file or anything. [They] have absolutely no figures concerning the percentage of children being sexually abused in our communities,” explained Shoshannah Frydman, head of Family Services at the Met Council.

Which is why, Dr. Hindie Klein from Ohel said, Kol Tzedek is such a step forward. “They have done a fabulous job at the D.A.’s office, encouraging victims to talk. They are extremely culturally competent and they keep records of the calls. This is going to help evaluate the extent of the problem in depth.”

Both the Met Council and Ohel Children’s Home organize regular meetings and workshops with Jewish Community Council’s directors and other community leaders in schools and synagogues, as well as with social workers throughout Brooklyn. “The aim of these meetings is to give information on what sexual abuse means for a victim, how to handle the trauma, how to identify a sexual offender in the community…,” explained Shoshannah Frydman.

While the Kol Tzedek hotline’s goal is to guide survivors mainly towards a secular legal process, the Met council, Ohel and the Jewish Board focus more on prevention, treatment, awareness, specific training of social workers within the community, outreach and financial support both for sexual abuse victims and for perpetrators. “There are a number of skilled clinicians who are providing treatment to the victims in our Borough Park counseling center,” explained Faye Wilbur, licensed social worker and coordinator of Kol Tzedek for the Jewish Board.

“Our therapists are especially trained in working with trauma, and are members of the Orthodox community.” Apart from Kol Tzedek, the Jewish Board has, since 1995, been taking part in another program to fight the sexual molestation of children in Borough Park. Called “Be’ad HaYeled” (Hebrew for “On behalf of the child”), its goal is to “educate the community on the signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect,” explained Jo Gonsalves, director of communications for the Jewish Board.

Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services also tried to tackle the issue repeatedly. In the past years, this social agency produced several videos with survivors of child sexual abuse testifying on camera, and appealing to other victims to come forward and search for professional assistance.

Kol Tzedek is the program of which the purpose is specifically to encourage sexual abuse victims to press charges in non-Jewish courts. However, it is not the Brooklyn D.A.’s first attempt to address issues that touch specifically the Jewish Orthodox community, nor is it the first attempt to address specifically the issue of child molestation in that community. A domestic violence program, called Project Eden, and an additional project to fight drug addiction, were launched several years ago. But more importantly, in 1997, Ohel had already partnered with the D.A. to create the Offender Treatment Program. Its aim, as its name clearly suggests, was to treat child sexual abusers who were members of the Orthodox community.

But the program is now defunct. According to an article published in 2000 in The Jewish Week, the program treated 16 sexual offenders. Eight had gone through the secular criminal justice system and had been assigned to treatment. The remaining eight were also in treatment, but their cases had been handled by local Bet Dins and had never reached New York criminal courts. After a few months, the program died and it took the Kings County D.A.’s office more than ten years to come up with a new system. “It is essential to have a program that is respectful of the nuances,” explained Faye Wilbur, the counselor and social worker in charge of Kol Tzedek operations for the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. “The program’s partners have staff that speak the language of the community, literally and figuratively.” The importance of this factor in building trust in secular justice was also stressed by Derek Saker, from Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services: “When you’ve been through such a horrendous experience, the last thing you want is to talk to people who do not understand where you come from,” he said.

The Kol Tzedek hotline welcomes callers Hebrew or English. The phone is answered by a full-time licensed social worker specialized in the needs and conventions of the Orthodox community. “Should a caller want to file a prosecution, they will then be taken care of by the team of 18 prosecutors in the Sex Crimes Unit with similar specializations,” said D.A.’s spokesman Schmetterer. “The final goal, of course, is to have them press charges, because it is the only way for us to fight child sexual abuse in the area. But we never push them, we let them go through the process at their own pace. It’s all about building trust.”

After only one year of existence, Kol Tzedek still has to prove its long run efficacy. Brooklyn D.A.’s spokesman Schmetterer made it clear that “for now, there are no plans to expand the program,” although he acknowledged that “obviously, with more resources, [they] would be able to do more.”

However, at the beginning of March of this year, the state granted the Met Council $500,000 for the purpose of intensifying its prevention program throughout the 25 Jewish Community Councils in New York City, nine of which are located in Brooklyn.

The funds were requested by Brooklyn’s Democratic assemblyman Dov Hikind, and are part of a bigger budget, also allocated in March 2010, and dedicated to abuse awareness and action in other communities. Hikind has made the fight against child molestation in the Jewish Community the signature issue of his term. In fact, it was partly in response to one of his weekly radio shows, in the summer of 2008, that Kol Tzedek was launched a year ago. On his radio program, Hikind several times prompted victims to report to competent secular authorities what had happened to them, and, according to him, he received dozens of private calls from survivors every week.

How the $500,000 will be spent to fight child sexual abuse has yet to be determined. According to the Met Council, most of it should go to prevention and educational programs in Borough Park, the neighborhood which carries the largest Jewish Orthodox community outside of Israel.

“We feel we are getting a lot of support from the local councils, the schools, the synagogues…” noted Shoshannah Frydman, from the Met Council. This observation is shared by most children’s advocates: things are starting to change among members of the Orthodox communities. “We are now facing what the Catholic church faced ten years ago,” said activist Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg. “Awareness keeps growing day after day. It’s going to take some time, but we are getting there…,” he added. And for Ohel spokesman Derek Saker as well, the struggle has only just begun: “Curbing this issue is going to take a long, long process, and there still needs a lot to be done tremendously!” confirmed Derek Saker, at Ohel.

Still, “five years ago, if you Googled ‘pedophilia and orthodox Jews’, you would’ve only gotten results for anti-Semitic websites,” noted Victoria Polin, from the Awareness Center. “Now, you get respectable organizations, reliable reports, specialized advocacies, blogs maintained by members of the community itself.” And this transformation was also noticed recently by Yaakov Schonberg, the father of Baruch Lebovits’ young victim: “Two years ago, if I had walked into a synagogue after Lebovits’ “guilty” verdict, everybody would have been very hostile for attacking such a well-respected rabbi. But now, it’s the opposite: I’ve been considered as the winner, I’ve been welcomed as a hero!”

A fanatic is "possessed by an excessive and irrational zeal for a religious or political cause" (American Heritage Dictionary). Today, two types of fanaticism threaten the safety of our republic and the future of our populist revolt. The first is Christian Zionism. The second is right-wing calls for violence.

Contradicting the Bible, Christian Zionism says Jews and Israel are favored above all other races and nations, no matter what they do. Most Christian Zionists believe God will curse anyone who criticizes Israel. Jewish supremacists—whose ancestors founded communism and its offspring, liberalism—today corrupt the Gentile world through their predominant influence in international banking, Congress, and big media. This weakening of Gentile power is encouraged by Jewish Talmudic/Kabbalistic scripture so that the Jewish messiah can someday rule the nations.


Nevertheless, most Christian evangelicals ignorantly preach and practice ironclad non-criticism of everything Jewish. This formula is taken so far that no major Christian, conservative leadership group will criticize the Jewish Anti-Defamation League, despite its anti-Christian, pro-homosexual agenda and creation of Christian-persecuting hate crime laws worldwide.


The second fanaticism that threatens freedom is revealed in those who call for imminent violence to overthrow our government. An example may be the nine Hutaree militia members who allegedly planned to jumpstart revolution by killing a policeman, then bombing police at his funeral. If guilty as charged, the Hutaree held both forms of fanaticism. Their website displays "Seven Reasons Why Christians Should Support Israel." Contrary to media spin, they were not anti-Semitic. Their stated intent of supporting Israel unconditionally is the same position held by Pastor John Hagee, Dr. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. A militia leader told me that in 2007 he visited the now arrested leader of the Hutarees, David Brian Stone; he said Stone’s headquarters were decorated with flags of Israel and the leader angrily denounced any critique of Israel as "anti-Semitic."

This underscores an ominous reality. Pro-Israel fanaticism, with its welcoming invitation to supremacist Jews, runs so deep everywhere in the Christian right that it would continue, even if a government overthrow did take place. The pattern of supremacist Jews hijacking a conservative "revolution" already occurred in recent history. In 1980, Ronald Reagan accomplished his own coup against liberalism. The "Reagan Revolution" brought new respect for conservatism in America. Immediately, Jews flooded the movement, creating the Jewish "neoconservative" faction of the Republican Party. This Jewish lobby’s insistence on special favors to Israel helped pressure Pres. George W. Bush to invade Iraq, protecting Israel from Saddam’s "weapons of mass destruction" – which were never found. The same Jewish neo-cons goaded Bush to invade Afghanistan after 9/11, again to secure the safety of Israel. These two wars, promoted by Israeli dual-loyalists high in Republican circles, gave the Democrats the anti-war issue they needed to end Republican credibility and elect Obama. Now, the same pressure is witheringly applied on the Obama administration to take military action against Iran, again to insure the safety of a greater Israel.


What does America really need?


Through education and return to sound, Biblical interpretation, we need to overthrow the power of Jewish supremacism. It will do little good to topple the present government if this is not confronted. With incredible speed, supremacist Jews will only resurface like toxic mushrooms after a thundershower. Incredibly, triumphant evangelicals like Sarah Palin would be the first to invite such Jews to participate. A violent revolution would only substitute one Jewish-controlled government for another.

What if I were to tell you that the Arab government of Morocco in the 1950s forced 100,000 Jewish children to be rounded up and taken to a medical facility where they were given radiation treatments of 350 RAD for the ostensible treatment of ringworm?

What would you do?

What would the outcry be in the Jewish community?

Would there be a feeding frenzy in the Jewish media and in the general media such as the New York Times which continues to feed the Jewish beast of the Holocaust on a regular basis?

What would be said about Arabs and their incipient Anti-Semitism?

To put this in some current perspective, we have recently learned that a new committee has been formed to link the 1941 riots in Baghdad known in Arabic as the FARHUD to the Nazi Holocaust. Steps are now underway to take an isolated if tragic event in Arab Jewish history where the total number of Jewish deaths was no more than 300 if that much and turn that event into a HOLOCAUST. This committee is bent on taking the FARHUD and making it a mandatory part of the Holocaust curriculum in the US. It is clear that the concern with demonizing the Arabs has become a malignant obsession for Arab Jews who wish to curry favor with the Ashkenazi establishment and serve the Israeli HASBARAH campaign that is such a crucial part of Jewish self-knowledge at present.

How quickly do you think would word spread in the media of the near-homicidal treatment of 100,000 Jewish children by their Arab hosts?

Would such a revelation make the FRONT PAGE of every newspaper in the US and Europe
